Hello,

I'm getting this error for each required field on the edit profile page:
Uncaught ReferenceError: cvalidate is not defined

Apparently something is not working over there:
libraries/fields/textarea.php on line 47

if ( !empty($max_char) ) {
			$html .= '<script type="text/javascript">cvalidate.setMaxLength("#field' . $field->id . '", "' . $max_char . '");</script>';
}

Can you help me out?

Thanks!

HI, Steve.

Thank you for contacting us.
Please, send me via PM:

1. Your site backend URL
2. Super User credentials
3. Link to current forum thread (so I'll know to what your PM apply to).

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi,

turns out the upgrade wasn't successful due to server configurations.
Once I reinstalled JS on a live server with proper configurations, all the issues are solved!

Many thanks for the great support!
