ISSUE SUMMARY:
I want to show the output from the plugin in a position different than: content, sidebar top and sidebar bottom.

I've already managed to get the About Me section to show in the header by setting

<?php echo $about; ?>
. I've created template override and changed the layout to suite my needs, i'm hiding the About Me tab with CSS, and that all works fine. What i want to achieve now is one of the other plugins to be shown where i want it, and that's above the stream. I need help with how can i get the output from specific plugin.

thanks

Hi, Christina.

Thank you for contacting us.
There is no specific code that will allow you to display data from a specific plugin.
Plugins are displayed in fixed positions and called in a loop. You may only move whole php loop - what is equal with moving whole position for plugins. It should be fine if you assign one plugin to certain position.

Nevertheless I assign developer to your inquire, maybe he would have an idea how to achieve what you need ;)

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
