Incorrect message notification number

ISSUE SUMMARY:
The message notification number is incorrectly reporting the number of message and will not reset, even after clearing all caches (they were disabled anyway)





STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1) Receive a message
2) Read it and/or delete it
3) Refresh the page

RESULT
The message notification number remains at 1 and will not reset.

EXPECTED RESULT
The message notification number would reset to 0 and not be shown.

BROWSER
All.

I just test it and I dont see any notif message count, or maybe this issue only happens on some specific users? can you provide me the sample user account?

Hi Dimas,

No problem, as mine is one of the accounts affected. We've had a few support tickets in from regular users complaining about it as well, but it's obviously an issue that only affects certain users. Weird. :)

In my last message I posted the login details for my account on the NALCNetwork, as that is one of the accounts effected.

Hi Todd,

I mean your Jomsocial user account not phpmyadmin user account (I can see it and able to phpmyadmin)

Since this issue cant replicate with your admin account (jomsocial.tech) so I need the another user who has this issue.
