Hey hey,

Ok so as i can tell you still don't have a register module, and i'm still trying to figure why that is but any how.

So now i'm trying to turn the register.index.php into a custom module do you think thats possible?

Hi, Alex.

We always need to see big picture not a particular sites.
How you imagine to have registration module that will contain 20 or more fields? And their fields descriptions...
And load 4 pages of whole registration flow...

It's possible but if its effective and useful? I don't think so.

You may use any other Joomla! registration module but this will cause user bypass all profile fields... that always could be filled later.

In other words:

No, register.index.php can't be incorporated into module as registration flow is rather complicated and contains few pages and (may contain a lot of) fields.

Any Joomla! registration module will allow users to register and profile will be created but profile fields will be empty (user can fill them later).

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

If you look at the big picture you'll see that all other social platforms have a simple Start registration on home page. you don't need to have 4 pages in one module you only need to have the first step in a module that then links them to the second part which carrys on as it would normally do.

Its pretty simple really.
