The problem appeared yesterday, I can access most of the backend pages for JomSocial but not a single one in the "Configuration" menu.
I haven't done any DB modification, neither file modifications except those Albertus adviced to make group name translatable.
The browsers (tried Safari, Firefox, Chrome) say "Empty Response" after a long moment waiting.

Hi.
Please, increase max_input_time to 30. Now you have strange setting -1.
Contact with your hosting provider if you don't know how to change it.
Hi Michal,
I contacted them, and they say the setting was like that before, they didn't change it in the mean time, so if it worked before, there is not reason for this setting to be the cause of the problem. I insisted for them to change it but I ain't sure they will accept.
In the meantime, just to be sure of what they said is true, I changed the PHP configuration in my dev environment (MAMP 3 with PHP 5.4.34 like my hosting) to the value -1 for max_input_time.
The configuration pages in dev environment were still accessible and working after rebooting the dev server with that setting.
Can you have a deeper look at another cause please ?
Do you need the credentials for the SQL database as well ?

Hi,
Ok.
In the mean time I asked for an upgrade of my hosting, to have higher priority for script execution.
It's already upgraded and still no change :-(
I found a ßeta script analyser in my control panel, I launched an analysis on the
configuration page
and I'll communicate you the result.

Pierre-Philippe
Hi.
Try this solution:
www.jomsocial.com/forum/technical-issues...configuration#106050
Setting $isuptodate = true; made it works again ! GREAT !! :-D
Will I still be notified if I check for new version on the Tools>Update page ?
Many thanks :-)
