Error Module Manager when I create new one (jomsocial menu)

Hello,

When I go on Module Manager, I click on "New" and I have this error :

For info I just update my Jomsocial some days ago, I dont know if the problem arrived sinds this update or if he here before...

Hi, Olivier.

These are not errors but php warnings. You can ignore them as they will not influence your system performance in any way.
You can disable Joomla! error reporting here: Backend -> System -> Global Configuration -> Server -> Error reporting -> set to "Default" (and if it will not work, then set as "None")>

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi Michal,

Ok I understand but if I go to Module Manager I have this "warning" but if I click on "mod_jomsocialmenu" here I have an error :)

Hi, Olivier.

mod_jomsocialmenu is a very old module from JomSocial 2.8.4 and it will not work with current version of JomSocial and Joomla 3.x. You need to remove it from your file system and any entries in database related to it.

You probably did a migration from older version and didn't removed old extensions.

I just make the update with iJoomla Updater like you tell me...

I dont migrate it...

and I try to remove this module but I dont find it in the extention manager.

Please, edit your first post and add FTP and PHPmyAdmin credentials.
I'll do a safe copy of your site and try a small surgery on it ;)

Done. For future references: I removed spared folders (they contained only one xml file) from Root/modules and cleared _extensions table from spared rows. Now there are no error notices and no issues within module creation.
