Hello Team JomSocial
Unfortunately, I have two problems with Jomsocial:
1, Jomsocial and sh404SEF
When I use sh404SEF causes the plugin (System - Jomsocial redirect) an error. The mistake is, the one redirected all feed links (category and main entries) on a content page Rss file is not displayed. A graph, see the Appendix.
The same error occurs when I use JFBConnect. I have tried in the forum of "anythingdigital" to get help without success. The support of "anythingdigital" confirmed the error and says I should contact the developers.
You can find the forum post below:
anything-digital.com/forum/extension/sh4...-jfbconnect.html?p=4
I have shared this problem also JFBConnect.
You can find the forum post below:

2 Jomsocial and JSN Mobilize
JSN Mobilize is a plugin, which allows an optimal representation of my website on mobile devices.
After an update of Jomsocial (on 3.2.0.3) The input mask for the status messages will no longer appear. The user can no longer publish post. In the previous version, this error is not, and both extensions work well.
I hope you can help me
I like to give them the data for the backend.
Best regards
Micha
Hi Michael,
I'm not really sure this is the answer you are looking for but Jomsocial is SEF compatible with jommla and therefore we don't test or build it for any other 3rd party SEF component. There would be nothing we could do other than suggest that you use the built in Joomla SEF which works perfectly with Jomsocial. If there are 3rd party issues with a 3rd party SEF component then it is outside of Jomsocial support scope. I can only suggest that you contact a developer to see if they can modify some code to get it to work how you would like it to. The JFBconnect from Source coast also works perfectly with Jomsocial and Joomla SEF as well so i'm not sure what else either of us could do.
The second question regarding JSN Mobilize and things not functioning since the update is because they will need to update their component for the new version of Jomsocial. This is standard practice by all component companies that need to call any jomsocial functions. The new version has major code changes in it. The component writer will need to contact us for more information if they need updated code information
Hi Paul,
I recently bought a new car, then I have a small sticker affixed. When I drove the car 100 m, broke off all four wheels. The car was a total loss. The manufacturer says there is no warranty because the car is not design it to accommodate this load.
I think that there are many customers who use an additional SEF extension. Unfortunately, I the error is noticed only by chance. Perhaps it would be useful to look at the plugin again. The number of incorrect URL's is not insignificant. I have again installed a testversion, which only the three components contained (sh404SEF, Jomsocial and JFBConnect). The error is (are
www.top-solar-info.com
backend data the same) in this version yet.
I nevertheless thank you for the answer
Best regards Micha
Hi Michael
I can see you point but i still don't understand the purpose of using an additional extension to achieve something that is built in and works fine by default in Joomla. From what i can see all the other features of the plugin are disabled other than SEF. The reason i make that comment is because doing this may cause issues like this. But anyway lets move on
I went to your test site (great that you created that)
1. I logged in then logged out
The result is the page has a redirect loop on it. This means that is was redirecting back onto itsself
I went to admin, to the jomsocial re direct plugin and noticed that the logout page was set to the profile page so that is the loop. I changed it to re direct to the home page and the site now log in and out via joomla or jomsocial fine.
I then checked that SEF404 was enabled and it is. I also checked the JBFConnect was enabled and running (it was)
I then logged in using the JBFConnect method authenticated with facebook then created a new account. Activated the account and logged back in using facebook connect. I then logged in and out using all combinations and all worked ok
The RSS feed issue. I don't understand. Is this somehow related to jomsocial or our redirect plugin? or is this a sourcecoast issue. If you consider it related to Jomsocial could you please set up the scenario on your test site and explain in steps how i can replicate the problem. If you do that then i am more than happy to have a look again at that.
If i have missed or misunderstood something let me know
Hello Paul,
In the last few days have further attempted to eliminate the error. I think there is no solution. I for that reason, I uninstalled sh404SEF.
I thank you sincerely for your support and wish you all the best.
Best regards Micha
Hi Michal,
Thanks for letting me know the outcome, even thought not the best outcome. If you need anything further please let me know
