Import problems

ISSUE SUMMARY: Hi



Our Facebook login works perfectly, however there are a few problems with some of the importing:

1. The cover image stays at default.
2. The users facebook information or basic information(for example birthday, email address, city/town, country etc) doens't import from facebook to our site. All it shows is what gender the user is.
3. The stream doens't import(I am not 100% sure if that is a import benefit of this facebook feature, but that also stays the same)

1. Cover won't be imported.
2. Only user name and avatar will be imported i.imgur.com/XDnnVKb.png
3. It imports ONLY text status - they must be public.

Is there any chance I can make our customize profile fields and groups(In the attachment above) to show



on the second attachment when a user wants to register/login in/sign in via the "sign up with facebook". The user then needs to fill our customize profile fields in and then that information the user filled in must be shown under the "about me" page located under profile on our website.

Is that possible? And how do we do that?

No, sorry, this can't be done...
But you may force user to complete profile by other mans e.g extensions.joomla.org/extension/force-complete-profile

Will this plugin take the users to that customize profile fields automatically when a user tries to login via the "sign in with facebook"?

I'm not sure. Usually it takes to edit profile page right after log in.
This is 3rd party extension, please, contact with plugin developer..

We have decided to take out the sign in with facebook. Thank you so much for your assistance!

Is there any chance you can help us with the following:

When a user creates a new account by signing up through our webiste a email is send out to that user saying: "Thank you for registering etc with a activation link etc.

Will it be possible that another email can be send to the same user with a link that will take them to youtube for a tutorial video explaining our website?

No, only activation email and account details emails are sent.
So options are:

- you customize email template to send also another links
- or use 3rd party extensions like this one: www.yireo.com/software/joomla-extensions...heduler/welcome-mail
