where can I change the setting on what data is ready by the facebook plug-in.

I just want to get the username , status updates and avatar of my members.

At the moment, I can get this:

Basic Information
description, birthday
Birthday, Education history and Website.

Do you want get that information for your own profile or for all your members? can you clarify this, please?

Because if you want get that info for your own profile, we alrady have it for getting avatar, status and basic profile from Facebook.

I would like the feature changed for all members of my site. a few members are not comfortable when FB tells them I can read a lot of information from their profile.

I recall in the very old version of jomsocial, there is a form we can go to change what we get from FB. I cannot find that anymore.

You can check the jomsocial configuration->FB connect and you can see the setting for There

there used to be a screen to let us pick which fields in FB can get read by jomsocial. I cannot find that screen anymore.

I am not sure I forget or not, but as I know we dont have the feature for choosing the FB fields... I think you used the another FB connect, not FB connect from Jomsocial.
