Hi,
have problems with installing Jomsocial 4.5. After unzipping the package and drag and drop com_community_professional.4.5.zip in the packaging-install-area from Joomla the joomla install-logo run and run and ran... more then two hours. By installing guru I had no problems.

Joomla 3.8.2
PHP 7.1.6
Webspace: enough
I have a lot experience with Joomla an have installed hundreds of extensions, but this problem is new, or i be a blockhead.

- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
JomSocial package is quite big so you need that value higher.
Please, contact with your hosting support to increase it or use alternative method of installation - Joomla! folder install.
