Since I have have upgraded Jomsocial to the latest version which includes the new chat system, the speed for loading all Jomsocial pages has deteriorated considerably. Is there anything that can be done about this? For comparison sake, I can provide you with urls to two identical sites - one has an older version of Jomsocial with the old messaging system and the other has the latest version of Jomsocial with the new chat system. The speed to load pages on the latest version of Jomsocial has slowed considerably.
