Hello, I have one maybe stupid question.
On my site currently open_basedir is set via php.ini file but on System requirements page ( documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/JomSoci..._System_Requirements ) you are recommending that this option is not used.
But since open_basedir option is related to security I need to know what will I gain if I turn this option off? I mean in what way is JomSocial affected by using this option?

Thank you!

Hi Goran,

Some of code on jomsocial needs open_basedir, so I suggest you enable it.. if this is related security issue maybe you can set it from vhost.. or contact your sys-admin for better security solution

thank you!
