Absoulutely nothing is working other than members page is displayed.

ISSUE SUMMARY:
Ive just purchased jomsocial, installed it and nothing is working, the members page/profile is displayed, but if you click any thing it will either do nothing or give an undefinde error, unable to add friends, upload avatars, like posts, post to the timeline etcc, if you click the photo page it will remain on the members page.

Hi, Peter.

Your issue is caused by Comet Chat extension. I disabled it and now posting on stream is possible.
But still chat panel is displayed - that's strange.
Please, contact with Comet Chat developers.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi michal,

Thanks for your quick response, although it is now possible to post to the wall, like and add friend etc, when clicking , friends, photos, groups, events under the cover photo this seems to do nothing, also when uploading avatars/new cover photos the photos look like they are uploading as the bar goes up however they dont actually upload to the profile and stay blank/standard.

Hi, Peter.

This issue was caused by your menu misconfiguration. You've set JS Profile page as your JomSocial frontpage (menu item Members).
That caused issue in browsing to other JS pages.
I fixed that by correcting Members menu items to JS frontpage (instead Profile page).

This also fixed avatar and cover upload.
