ISSUE SUMMARY:

I want to add ALLOWED DOMAINS in the REGISTRATION PART OF THE configuration..
I tried something like

*.mil;*.gov;*.fbi
however, this is not doing the wildcard part.. its not letting me register when I try this..
basically if I try
This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. its give error about bad domain.. .
IS THERE A WILDCARD I CAN USE HERE ... so all email formulated like This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or domain.gov will work?

HI, Kelly.

No, you can't use wildcard in that field.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, Kelly.

This can't be done by simple configuration.
The only way to do this is... core hack.

Core hacks are not recommended nor supported as they may not working with future JomSocial releases and/or cause issues that will be not supported. Users with core files hack refuse to upgrade their installation to keep those hacks and they are stuck with outdated and unsupported versions.

But if you really need this feature, please consider to hire a professional developer: www.upwork.com/groups/jomsocial as we don't support customizations. Please, read our Support Policy: www.jomsocial.com/support
