Since upgrading to the latest Jomsocial version articles links entered in the status update - both linking to articles on my own site itself or elsewhere - no longer work when clicking on the preview. When I delete the preview and just click on the actual link it works again.

can you try to increase max_execution_time at php configuration to 3000
seem the "link" failed to "catch". if still happening, I need your database access.
I want have a look the database records at debugging process.

I've tried that but it made no difference. The problem is not that it does not display the thumbnail. It does. The problem is that if a user clicks on the thumbnail, the link does not work. It does not go to the article.
