Hi, Quabu.

Documentation will be updated soon.
To create overrides copy folders with files from:

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts

To:

ROOT/templates/your-template/html/com_community/layouts

Then edit files inside folders.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

It seems that not work for all the template files.

I'm trying to override the profile.miniheader.php to show or hide items under the cover. I put the file on the path you told me and still give the file located under com_comunity-

Something missing?

Hi, Quabu.

In creating overrides you should follow the same structure for each files inside "layouts" folder.
If it's /layouts/profile/focus.php or /layouts/profile.miniheader.php it should have the same structure in override folder.

You probably mistake file and expect different result.

If you want to customize profile cover display, you should customize this file: /layouts/profile/focus.php
