Hi Victor,

seem the issue with your server permission. please set permission to 755 to all directories and 644 to all files.
if still error, please open /administrator/index.php
and put this code

error_reporting(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors','1');

after

define('_JEXEC', 1);

let see what error message for that white space

FYI: seem your revert back the permission for FTP user. I cant make any changes anymore

I still dont have write permission with FTP. please give me write permission, so I can try to debugging again.
here the FTP error

Response: 	553 Could not create file.
Error:         	Critical file transfer error
