Problem with backend admin and upload photos via ajax

Hi...
We have problems with the administrator in the back-end in joomla...
When we try to access the jomsocial component... it doesnt load...

When we are trying in the front end for example to upload a photo or to change the user's avatar... it doesnt upload....

Hi Victor,

1) backend issue
please have a look at your server logs related that blank page. ask your server support about that logs

2) frontend issue
i can upload avatar without any issue

In other server I had the same issue... it was the ajax component that use jomsocial

Hi Victor,

I dont have write access by using that FTP detail. I need write access for debugging purpose.
and with that FTP, I only can see joomla logs, not server logs. I need server logs. can you zip it and attaching to this topic?

or you can try to put your site to http://ip/bla/bla not http://ip:10000/bla/bla

and about upload avatar issue, is not same server? It might be server restriction causing it

Hi Victor,

there is no any errors. it must be your server blocking some outside connections. I suggest you not using IP and port 10000 for your dev site.
try using dev.yourdomain.any

No... when I'm connected in localhost it doesnt allow me to access the component jomsocial... but backend yes..

You can access in our subdomain too...

I can access your frontend without 10000. but your backend still must using 10000, if not I got LDAP error.

please try to re-install jomsocial. no need to uninstall first

I tried to re-install and I get the error "Error installing component"

Please help me.. I saw that you already try to reinstall it, and you couldnt because you installed the iInstaller, to update the component...

Please help me.. i dont know if I'm missing a requirement...
