ISSUE SUMMARY:

When adding a TEXT or ARTICLE to the lessons they are not visible from the frontend, unless they are tagged as video.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Create a Text or Article Media File
2 Create a Lesson
3 Make a Lesson link to the Text or Article File
4 Navigate to this lesson on the frontend

RESULT - A black screen
EXPECTED RESULT The text or article on the page

I was able to replicate the issue on your site.
I assign developer for further investigation.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

This issue is specific to your site.

We still investigate cause of this issue.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.

Hi Jason,

Indeed there was a bug in the current Guru version and that took a bit of time to revise and fix. I just installed you a new version which will be released soon, this version fix that bug and some others too.

Sorry it took so long but all should be ok now :) please enjoy!

Hi Jason!

What you need to do is to download new Guru package and install on your site. Latest package contain these modifications and other bug fixes.
If you are worry about installing directly on live site, then you can do one more test by installing on your dev. Then, you can check and if all is ok you can go live with it. At install, all existing data will be kept and only component files will be overwritten.
