ISSUE SUMMARY: I can't create groups from the backend,or from the profile. The only way I was able to get it to work was to make a menu item to create group. It does say import groups from .csv but I just want to create them. I do have group creation enabled.

Can someone screen shot where a button is suppose to be?

I just test it and able to create group via this URL jameztown.com/index.php/create-group , but after I created it my group need to be moderated first on with admin..

to disabled group moderation you can disable this config "Moderate Group Creation" from group setting

Yes I understand that you can create a group from that url but what about when I remove that menu link? How will user be able to create groups or myself. In previous installations I was able to create it from back or front.

Actaully you couldnt add group from backend, you only can edit them..

I am sorry I dont understand.. so you want to avoid registered members to add new group? so only admin can do it ? you can set "Allow Group Creation" to No..

Before you used to be able to create groups in the backend of Jomsocial, I did it on my last website. Is that not available now in 4.2?

I see you can create a group in the frontend by going to groups then create inside the toolbar of a profile. I must have missed that before. I can make that work.
