New Group discussions - no email sent

Hi, Max.

Which one is an "old" group? I'll need to do some tests.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi Michal,

There's a group called "Credit-Aktienkurs".
Just set up a test event - but no emails... Think in this group the discussion notifications by email don't work either...

Found the solution!
Once you copy a group event it will not send email notifications, but when you set up group events completely new - it's all good

Nice catch... ;) When copying event system doesn't send notification as it "thinks" that this is already existed event.
Notifications are triggered after new event form send.
