When I "Assign a user to a group" in the JomSocial backend (3.2.1.6), after clicking the desired group, I get a white page that results and the user is not added to the group. This is the URL that it redirects to: www.mydomain.com/administrator/administrator/… (I hit refresh and it loads, but the user is not added to the desired group.)

Hi Jeff,

I see the error reporting to maximum, but I am not sure why the error detail is not showing. Can you check you your error log please? and do you get and let me know.

thank you

All I see are a few entries with either:
* Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.
* cookiefailure Empty password not allowed

Ok, I've put in a request for my web server to turn on error reporting.

But they indicated that there are currently only two entries that deal with that domain:

4286521:[18-Feb-2015 09:45:50 UTC] PHP Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in /mnt/www/mydomain/public_html/com/modules/mod_s5_register/captcha/CaptchaSecurityImages.php on line 65
4306798:[19-Feb-2015 04:37:30 UTC] PHP Warning: implode(): Invalid arguments passed in /mnt/www/mydomain/public_html/com/modules/mod_jdownloads_tree/mod_jdownloads_tree.php on line 103

When I turn on Joomla error debugging, it is shown in the debug position (bottom).
