Search discussions in groups

We use JS als a place to share business experiences between our partners. If they have a technical question they start a discussion inside a group. With every new partner the need is increasing to be able to search inside the groups discussions.
All search fields inside of the JS UI or the Joomla search module do not find any group discussion. How can I get access to it? Did I forget to install a module or plugin?

Hi, Alexander.

NO, you can'r search within discussion.
When I'm on your place I'll use Kunena forum instead of discussions. Kunena has built-in search feature and is more flexible.
As far I remember you can share groups between Kunena and JomSocial.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
