ISSUE SUMMARY:
Hi,

We want to display the upcoming events from JS in the frontpage - Access: Guests.
The event header is displayed well but when clicking to see event details, login is required.

How can we prevent the login?

regards,
Udi

Hi, Udi.

Where I can see upcoming events on your site?

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, Udi.

It's because your community frontpage menu item (ID 517) are for registered users only:

Long story short: in JomSocial JS pages (related with JomSocial Toolbar menu) doesn't have own menu item ID but they inherit it from menu item that is outside JomSocial Toolbar (is related with JS - usually a frontpage, and has lowest menu item ID).

Solution would be simple - just change permissions for that particular menu item and make it Public.
