Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
ISSUE SUMMARY:
When members can create events, if they choose 'invitation only' and 'hide on list of events' then the superuser cannot view the event page. This means they cannot monitor content. This is happening because they are not an invited guest.
NB Language suggestion: 'hide on list of events' is not a good explanation of an event being private. It would be best to say 'keep event hidden from non-guests' as the event is hidden on profile, activity stream, not just list of events. This is not clear from the phrase 'hide on list of events'
STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 user x creates event
2 check 'invitation only' and 'hide on list of events'
3 login as superuser
4 try to go to event page
5
RESULT superuser can't view event page
EXPECTED RESULT superuser must be able to view event page!
BROWSER
I tested being invited to an event. When I clicked on the event to RSVP I was the screen said "request an invitation" When I clicked on "request an invitation" the message said this guest is already attending but I was not showing on the attendee list.
I set up a new event as a regular user and clicked private event. None of the invitations were received by the guests I selected.
