sorry, I want to make more clear. do you mean:
1. create new single event (without repeat)
2. upload event cover to that created event
3. click event options button and select "Kopieren"
4. at Kopieren event, put repeat period on it
5. save it.

after saved there is no any repeated events created?

change the code from
