4.0.6 Attend and Invite Buttons missing for Registered Accounts

ISSUE SUMMARY:
Upgraded to 4.0.6 and the Attend and Invite buttons are no longer visable to Registered users. I need a fix for this ASAP!
Admin accounts can see, just not normal registered users.

Test account for registered user in Misc Section of post.

Hi,

That event is for group members, so that registered members should join the group first.

Ah, I see. This can be a bit confusing to new users since events created through activity stream postbox don't belong to any group and are open to join by anyone.

Is it possible to create a call-to-action button in that spot that shows "Join Group to RSVP" ?
