Hi there,

When I create an event and save it I get a message saying its moderated, even though the account is set as administrator. I went to the back end and logged in as administrator only to find that I a message saying events are now moderated from the front end ONLY. I logged into the front end as the primary administrator and had a notification, but when I clicked it it took me straight back the the back end.

So there seems to be no way to access it either as a user or as an administrator.

Hi, Darren.

Please provide us with working administrator credentials.
I can't login to your site.
Please, edit your first post and add credentials to corresponding fields.

"See previous post" tells us nothing.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, Darren.

When I tried to create an event I get:

Please contact the server administrator, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

So first check if your hosting meets JomSocial system requirements:

Also try to uinstall JomSociall with all extensions related to it and all menu items and menus (also cleat trash bin). Then try to install JomSocial again.

Hi,

I passed to problem on to the web host and they say they fixed the issue by resetting permissions.

I've tried to edit the event again, but still being redirected to the back end, but still not getting access to the event.

Hi, Darren.

I'm sorry but I can't confirm it. I logged in using credentials you provided us and I was able to create event and to delete my other event. prntscr.com/3l6dxd

The only issue I encountered was again a 500 when I tried edit Event. Changes ware saved but page gone 500.

So please, try to use techadmin account and create/delete events.

Maybe this issue applies to certain account? Could you provide me access to that account? Edit your first post and add account details in Miscellaneous field.
