Events featured limited at 100 - problem!

Hello,

On www.time2move.ro , we use the featured event function to promot events.

Probably, as time went by we reached the 100 limit. Even if now only two future events are featured, probably 98 are past events.

How can I solve this as I cannot feature another event - it says "you have reached the 100 limit" or something similar and I can't feature any other event.

I just tried create an event and I succeed without issue...
Or maybe you just deleted some events so my creation passed.
I need to replicate it on your installation...

Did you also mark it as Featured? Because that's the problem, not the creation of the event.

Ah! I see your point now.
It seems that JomSocial still counts past events as featured.
There is no way to un-feature past events.

Ok, so maybe for now try to disable some past events that are featured to display new one.
I'll report it as a bug.

I have quick fix for this: I hanged limit for featured events from 100 to 999999999. (in Backend -> Components -> JomSocial - > Configuration -> Layout -> Featured Item and Listing. I think 999999999 featured events should be enough for few years :)

Nevertheless featured events, when outdated should loose "featured" quality.

I'm sorry for the delay Michal, your fix worked like a charm, there are no more issues now. I've opened several topics with problems I had and it seems i forgot to post a few "thank you" and "it's solved now" .
