the former endpoint address is better is it not because that works if your bucket endpoint is a regional one, the later address only works for US bucket endpoints. Since upgrading my code none of my s3 files are accessible, they are an Australian endpoint bucket. Is there a reason for the change I am unaware off?
It seems since version 3.1 amazon s3 files must be accessed via US General endpoint?
basically http://yourbucket.s3.amazonaws.com/yourobject
has changed to
http://s3.amazonaws.com/yourbucket/yourobject
