Hi Arnaud,
I checked your frontend template. there is doubling jQuery
<script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.9.1/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
pls take out jquery 1.9
use only joms.jquery-1.8.1.min.js
Cheers,
Albert
hello,
it takes 2 days i'm trying to tune jquery easy
I've tried to use your joms.jquery-1.8.1.min.js but it doesn't work. I've tried to use jquery.1.8.1min.js but it's the same. I don't know what's the difference between yours and normal jquery.
And don't you use jquery v1.9.2 or latest jquery for js v3.1. I've got a lot extensions and even disabling them the only one that doesn't work is your extension. And please don't tell it works fine with your default template or with no extensions because you know jomsocial is used with other extensions.
So thanks to help me to find a solution
best regards
Hello,
Did you remove it?
<script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.9.1/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
pls put it back. and i need time to debug your site JS. i saw many JS loaded. it must be conflict in some where.
Hi,
@Arnaud, not trying to hijack your post but rather to get it resolved.
We are having the same issues, please see:
www.jomsocial.com/forum/events/12755-can...ate-or-edit-an-event
Really need to get this working ASAP.
Thanks,
Andrew
hello,
thank you, I've installed a test server and disabling all extensions.
Finally I've seen that using default jomsocial template AND disabling JTicketing it works fine. So I've asked to Tigra template developer to see what could be the problem.
I can send you too test server too
best regards

Hi,
As we now know, this is a bug in JomSocial. This is what I received from Paul Smith at JomSocial (iJoomla):
"Thanks for getting back to me, I have immediately identified the error and it was a bug in 3.0.53, it was gone in 3.0.1 and has reappeared back in 3.1.01. There is a really quick workaround which I have done which is turn of reoccurring events and the issue immediately disappears."
Now, please follow on my forum post about this issue:
www.jomsocial.com/forum/events/12755-can...ate-or-edit-an-event
Thanks,
Andrew
HI Guys,
We had this issue as valid bug, but actually already fixed in newest version.. and if you still have this issue I can say this is caused by 3rd party template/plugins.
Dimas that is contradicting to what Paul Smith said. Please see:
www.jomsocial.com/forum/events/12755-can...ate-or-edit-an-event
This is concerning as this is clearly relating to exactly the same issue and bug, however it does feel like JomSocial Support team is not really communicating to each other.
