Jomsocial 4.3 Frontend Login Failed

Anyone having issues logging in to jomsocial frontend?
My admin user can login to joomla administrator but not jomsocial 4.3 frontend.

Do you use JomSocial frontpage login form or Hello Me module? or something else?
Do your user name contains spaces?

- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job

- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
1. No, was using the frontpage login
2. No whitespaces

Problem was detected. Joomla password/login accepts characters ".=/" etc.
Jomsocial login fails if those characters are present in the password field.

Could you try to upgrade to JomSocial 4.3 and confirm that this issue is also present in latest version?

The title of the threat is jomsocial 4.3. Was tested with latest 4.3.
I dont think it was present in previous 4.2.latest, because I could login.

2. Super User credentials
3. Current thread URL
4. FTP credentials

Sorry, but our administrator is ip restricted. But you have a couple of users here with probably the same issue:

Hello, any update about this thread ? Same problem here: www.gia-consultores.com/partners and I can't login with normal superadmin details, only with facebook connect.

Hi,
I'm having the same issue. I can still log in to the backend, but I can't in the front. This happened a few days ago I changed the admin password and was able to log on at the frontend.
Today, 3-4 days later, I am unable to log in again. I followed the same step I took the first time, however, it's not taking. This is very frustrating. Are any solutions forth coming?

Yes, just bought the new licence and we too have now the same problem, Login with special character does not work after update to 4.3. normal character and numbers work, but any special character not. No #=/% and so on. Many of our users use special character and can not login, please provide a fast patch... Thank you! Kind regards Jo
