Hi again Dimas,
A few email issues:
1) Presently, when a new user joins, I get a notification sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. but I want to change this to go to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

2) Can I have an email sent to a user whenever a friend request is made?

Thank you for contacting us.

1. Just change email of user with login "iadmin" :)

2. Such ane email is send by default. in your case it seems that NO emails from JomSocial are sent as you don't have configured cron job. Take a look here: Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Monitor -> Mail Queue.

Please, read this documentation: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Setting_Up_Cron_Job

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

I'm not at all sure how to set up a cron job. Do I need to use a 3rd party application? No was I can make it so users receive emails when friend requested? Are you able to do this for me? The link you sent was difficult and involved other products and systems. Was hoping it would be easy to get notified if someone wants to friend you. Thanks for your help. The documentation link also had nothing to say , was a bit broken with errors. Can you please do this for me? :)
