Bring Twitter @Anywhere functionality to your JomSocial community with username links, hovercards and a stylish Tweetbox!
This plugin brings Twitter @Anywhere functionality to your community by allowing your JomSocial installation to automatically convert Twitter usernames preceded by the “@” symbol posted into hyperlinks or hovercards that connect to the user’s Twitter profile, as well as adding a stylish Tweetbox to your site that allows users to quickly and easily tweet various pieces of community content.
Twitter Hovercards / Links:
Control which areas of your JomSocial installation will be accessed by this plugin. For example: Don't want activity streams parsed with Twitter hovercards or hyperlinks? Easily disable it in the plugin's configuration. You control whether walls, videos, groups, events, profiles, private messages and activity streams are affected by this plugin.
*This functionality requires a free Twitter @Anywhere API Key. Details on receiving one are explained in the documentation.
Stylish Tweetbox:
This plugin also adds a “Tweet this” link on JomSocial photos, photo galleries, videos, user profiles and events (wherever the “Share this” link currently appears) which, when clicked, opens a configurable and stylish-looking jQuery-based Tweetbox with a shortened URL already included.
*This functionality currently does not require you to have a free Twitter @Anywhere API Key. Yay!

Awesome plugin!
The plugin is really easy to setup (if you already configured another twitter application, this should be no different), and haves tons of features!Most of my online social circle comes from twitter, so this plugin is really worth it for me.
You can always tweet using the share this, function, but it's a few more clicks, and it's already hard enough to have visitors click on something, let alone comment... anything that makes it easier is good.
While most devs that write something for JomSocial seems to bump up the price of their extensions, because of the hefty price asked for JomSocial. Twitter @anywhere at 5$.. is really affordable!
Can't miss out on this one and can't believe this had a rating of 1 star from one voter either...
