Having trouble getting mail generated by Jomsocial through... it worked before no not working any suggestions?

hi ROb, you need to make sure your mail server is working, I suggest you contact your sys-admin for this..
OR maybe the email is working but the emails go spam folder..

Rob Thank you Dimas...it appears that the site is generating the emails but they are not getting through to the recipient so I'll check with my sys-admin again thank you 7 years ago

Rob Oh one more thing... should the "Mail Setting" in Global Config be set to "PHP mail" or one of the other selections? 7 years ago

a Guest "PHP mail"is the safest way, because it will detect the default mail config from php itself.. 7 years ago

Xristoph Conrad Rob there seems to be a disconnect of the user registration emails when routing through JomSocial. Everything works fine but the 2nd email to user informing them of their activation... that email doesn't get triggered. You'll have to post in the forum 7 years ago
