When Event or Group activity is posted on stream there is dropdown options for that activity to Hide or Delete that post. On jomsocial theme that works but switching to Flat it becomes inactive since it is rendered outside joms-stream__header class and since this is javascript triggered it does not show dropdown menu despite the fact that visual element is present.
I have not managed to find why joms-list__options is outside header on event activity. One way to "fix" this is to add:

We checked the Flat theme and it does not contain any override as you shared the file.
Please check if you added the custom work and created override files in that flat theme.
You can also download the Flat theme and compare it with your Flat theme folder.

I overwritten all Flat theme files with original and same thing happens. Event and Group post on wall does not have functional drop down arrow on post header that is responsible for options like Report, Hide and Delete post.
