Hello,

What size should the photo be so it can fit into the homepage cover slot? The top of the photo is cutting off.

Also, how can I change the the font type and color in this cover box?

Is it possible to change the color of the gray background on every page?

Hi
In the demo the image is 1140x469 that will resize with respect to the size of the screen.
If you want to customise the style you can do it using inspect element or Firebug prntscr.com/ht65gw
and override the style with help of this documentation documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Customi...zing_CSS_Stylesheets

Hi Pankaj,

My image is 580 X 386. Do you have any suggestions on how I can make it fit?

Thank you for the documentation. I will check it out! :)

Hi
Kindly share the page URL here soi will have a look.
The image size is small so it can be an issue.

Hi
Add below code to override the frontpage image

@media only screen and (min-width: 992px) {.joms-landing__cover { min-height: 399px; }}

documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Customi...zing_CSS_Stylesheets
This documentation helps you to override the style code.

Thanks, Pankaj.

I added the code, but the changes aren't applying.

HI, Robby.

Try to clear browser and Joomla! cache.
If code was applied correctly - changes should be displayed.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi Michal,

I cleared the cache, but the image is still cutting off at the top.

Hi
I checked your page and noticed there is file added by you as mentioned in the documentation to override changes
/templates/ja_teline_iv_t3/html/com_community/css/style.css
Kindly read the documentation carefully and override the code. You can also add the code in custom.css file but its Jomsocial code so i prefer to create an override style file.

Hi,

I added the code to /templates/ja_teline_iv_t3/html/com_community/css/style.css. I followed the documentation. It still isn't working. Honestly, these issues are taking long to resolve.

HI, Robby.

In other thread I've tried to explain how css override works.
Just declaring the same class may not work. You need to use class chain.

Hi
Sorry there seems some issue in the loading file,
I added the suggested code to your custom.css file, and its working fine, you can clear cache and check the image,
You can increase/decrease height as per needs.

Thanks for making it fit, Pankaj. :)
I tried adjusting the height to 300 px but the change won't take effect. Could you check on this and let me know how I can fix it?
