HI, Dmitry.

I passed this case to our developer, he'll investigate this further.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

HI, Dmitry.

After investigating this - we can't find any issue. Chat loads instantly prntscr.com/hv0kn3 (about 1-2 seconds).
We can't replicate this issue.

Thanks. Seems today chat works normal for me and there is no “infinity loading”.

Anyway I hope this problem, mentioned before, can be fixed:

HI, Dmitry.

This was some time ago... it seems to be fixed as it works fine on your site.

Now It works fine because I cleared chat DB’s data.

Problem was for few active users, that had tons of chats. The more chats they had, the slowly site is worked (after login). For fresh users and for guest it works normal.

Thanks.

SleepyMan wrote: Hi. I could no longer wait, so I had to chose: migrate to another component or do something. I cleared:
e2gr3_community_chat
e2gr3_community_chat_activity
e2gr3_community_chat_participants
and site become more faster for active users with lots of chats.

But it's just a temporary solution and anyway site will slowly again in some time.

I hope it can be fixed. If you need my lifesite's copy (with lots of chats), so let me know.

Thanks.

HI, Dmitry

Those chat messages ware migrated from previous version of PMs.
So migrating them en-mass could cause those sluggishness...
Let's see how this roll in time... hopefully this will work fine as older messages should be archived by script automatically after some time (chat settings)
