Page 404 displayed when any link is clicked while the page is loading

ISSUE SUMMARY:
If a link is clicked while the page is still loading, page 404 is displayed.
It can mislead the user.
Can i not disable the links while the page is loading and enable the links after a page has finished loading?

I think this issue more related with your joomla template issue, I suggest you contact to the template developer.
