After upgrade to the latest Jomsocial version, my profile urls all changed. The old url [example profile]:
www.gradtutors.com/profile/14684lim-loy-swee

But now, the new url is this:
www.gradtutors.com/14684lim-loy-swee/profile

How can I change it back? Or is there a way to redirect?

Can you provide me firewall access to your backend? are you using 3rd party SEF component? Since as I know we use this format since long time ago yyyyyy.com/userID/profile , or maybe you use 3rd party SEF component

Well, our developer confirmed this, which the default format is yyyyy.com/ID/profile and not xxx.com/profile/ID , the profile URL be generated via joomla Router, and jomsocial doesnt handle it.

I am not sure where/why you get format like this xxx.com/profile/ID ? can you give me the prove sample, please? to prove it maybe you can install the old jomsocial version on your test server
