JomSocial Messages/answers are not delivered

ISSUE SUMMARY:
While answering a Message in JomSocial you receive a mail. But there is no message when you login.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Send JomSocial Message to a user
2 User replies
3 Email on my mail account (you received a new )
4 click on Alert for new message
5 No Message shown
EXPECTED RESULT: get fixed to see the answers
BROWSER: all browsers (Firefox, Edge, Chrome tested)

We found out that sending smileys causes the issue!

I dont get it, what do you mean with smileys issue? can you provide me the screenshoot how to replicate this?

Hi Dimas,

It's weird, but sometimes when you send a personal message in JomSocial to s.o., the text is gone...?!
Meaning: you type a text in messages and right after you click on "send" you don't see the text in the correspondence, neither does the recipient...
I thought the disturbing part was sending emoticons/smileys, but now I think it comes when you send http-links.

Please use the word: korrekt
as password for the user ID.

I attached a picture of a conversation via JomSocial. Here you see a message missing which was definitely typed and sent...

I dont get it.. please you update your backend account from here www.jomsocial.com/index.php?option=com_k...d=28933&mesid=140863 also please provide me your sample user for testing this, because it can be only happens on some of users, please provide the sample user inside this field "Miscellaneous"

Hi Dimas,

I updated it some days ago - seems as it didn't save. But now you should have the right access data.

You can test it with this user accout:

[MOVED TO PRIVATE INFO]

It doesn't seem as there's a rule, when the issue appears and when not... So please try by sending a link, or a smiley, or wait for 15 Minutes...

Hi,

Thanks for testing. We had the issue several times now and I can't replicate when it's going to happen.
I will send some messages to your testing accounts today and let you know here, when there's the issue again.

Hi Dimas,

I'm sorry to tell you, that we still have the issue that messages in JomSocial are not delivered sometimes. (see screenshot)
Could it be that our template creates the issue?

Here's how the emails are delivered. One is with the issued message (no link and it says "Sebastian Kunz has send you a"). The next ones that came, were totally fine.
