Your dev's need to update the links in JomSocial section for multiple profiles on the site config section as both the documentation link is dead and the video link goes to the wrong video.

There is documentation but it's available for users with active license.
You need to create bunch of profile fields in Customize profile. Then in Multiprofile you create new multiprofile and assign profile fields to it. After you enable at least one multiprofile it will become available during registration. If you already have registered users, they will need to edit their profile and choose one multiprofiles you create... in other case they will have displayed ALL profile fields in their profile as they use "Default profile".
