Hello all, when someone registers to become a member on their mobile device, everything works as it should until its time to upload their profile avatar. No error is given, the system simply doesn't process the task. Sometimes it will, most times it wont?

do you mean the issue at registration process. please goto joomla backend > menus > main menu. and set "The Playground" access to public.
jomsocial entry page must set as public. if not all jomsocial functionality that execute at guest user will not works.
