On all other activity stream items you may override personal privacy settings using the drop down menu on the activity feed after posting, but on videos personal privacy settings always override the activity stream dropdown menu.

Hi, Chad.

I've set privacy for Videos as "Only Me". Then posted Video on stream. Video post has "Public" privacy. When I tried to change it to "Only me" it was changed but after page reloaded it was rolled back to default "Public".

This is a valid bug and I'll report it to our developers.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, Chand.

To respect privacy settings set in Privacy (frontend) you'll need to change:
Backend -> Component -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> Site -> Activity Display Privacy -> YES

So the only bug here was roll back to default privacy after page was reloaded.

So, please, do a safe copy of this file:
ROOT/components/com_community/libraries/activity.php

And replace original with patched file form package.
