Excessive repetition of group covers after a single upload

Hi.

After setting a group cover photo, too many activities regarding that upload have been created, as well as unnecessary copies of that same photo in folder /images/cover/group/*group_id. Look:

prntscr.com/444mle

Table community_activities is filled with a bunch of repetitions of that cover upload:

prntscr.com/444ms5

Consequently, wall is also filled with repeated records of just a single cover upload:

prntscr.com/444mvz

The same thing is happening after any profile image upload.

Is there any reason?

I've experimented some different settings in sh404sef plugin and its "flood control" and thought for a while that this problem was solved, but it's not.

It contains a patch files. Try them.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Michal, thank you for that, but it solved only the problem of multiple stream for groups and profile covers.

Profile avatars still generates multiple streams after each new upload, and you can check it live in my site.

Still waiting for a solution or aditional tip.

Unfortunately not. Half of the problem still remains, as I´ve told before to Michal on my previous reply. It seems that this last 81 kb pack you´ve send me is similar to that one Michal indicated in www.jomsocial.com/forum/installation/185...changing-cover#94425 , isnt´t it?

Both packs solve only multiple streams for a group cover upload, but groups avatars still generates a bunch of repeated streams on every single upload.

And more: try to upload a user profile avatar. It generates neither any activity stream, nor any related record in community_activities table.

:(

Also note that every single avatar upload generates a bunch of repeated and unnecessary thumbnails in "images/avatar/" folder.
I'm afraid those excessive repetitions can soon lead to a server resource failure.
