Configure Kunena Integration

ISSUE SUMMARY:
We have Kunena forum activated on our Guru course with a post box at the bottom of each lesson.
When a student posts a message within the lesson it is not visible on our jomsocial forum wall?
If I reply to the initial post via the Kunena forum page then my reply does show on the Jomsocial wall.

We want each students initial post (within the lesson) be displayed on the Jomsocial wall with all replys to that post hidden as a reply rather than a post in its own right.

Please see the below page and notice there is only activity from my profile showing up, which is mainly replys to students posts in the Kunena forum:
