JomSocial Tollbar link problem after upgrade JS4.5 + J!3.8.5

Hello,
thanks for your great software.

I recently upgraded Joomla to latest stable version 3.8.5, then I upgraded JomSocial from 4.1.3 to 4.5.0

Now I encounter one problem: links in JS toolbar (user profile) doesn't work properly: following links get the user to user profile page; MEMBERS, FRIENDS, GROUPS, PHOTOS, VIDEOS, EVENTS, INBOX. Only PROFILE links works well.

You can test by yourself the trouble by logging in

Could you check the login details, It does not allow me the login on site front end.
I created a test user and same issue with that too, did you disable the frontend login?

Hi
To update Jomsocial from older version you need to update it to 4.3 > 4.4 > 4.5 .
As there are DB changes in the version, For the menu kindly open the toolbar menu items and change the menu type of each menu.
For example events menu is set to create event > make it My event prntscr.com/iocint Do the same for all toolbar menu items and correct the type.

Save them > rebuild the menu items and check.

Hello, thanks for your response.

Could you please explain me how to do this?

I tried to open the first broken link, called "Persone" (People, in English), then I selected *COMMUNITY --> ALL MEMBERS*. At the end I rebuild the menu item, but nothing changes.

Can you modify only one of this menu item for me? I go ahead by myself when I understand the procedure.

I made several tests and I see that problem is fixed if I disable Joomla URL rewriting. But I need rewriting in the production site...!
Is it a possible scenario?

Hi
The issue was from language plugin, as the site is not multilanguage and language plugin was enabled.
I disabled the plugin and rebuild the menu items.
Please test the menu links now, its working fine.

I understood and I tried to enable/disable
System - Language Filter plugin
and all works fine as you said.

But I should know how to make JomSocial working in a multilanguage website, because I hope this webite became international with English translation.

Jomsocial works fine with Multilanguage,
But the site should have fully multilanguage as few items are using one language tag it add the language tag in URL that creates a problem in URL routing when u move to other menu items that are not using the same language.
