Hello when updating Module Assignment to only display on the pages selected, Ive tired to select None but some pages still be selected thats still published.
Thank you for contacting us.
I'm sorry but I don't understand what's the issue here. You assigned JS Profile Completeness to JomSocial built in position.
Only that means that it will be displayed on that particular position and page js_profile_mine_side_top_stacked - which is only for Profile owner, on profile.
Any operation related with module assignment belongs to com_module... which is Joomla! native component that manage modules.
I checked module editing mode and clicking NONE clears selection of menu items.
This module - when assigned to js_profile_mine_side_top_stacked should be assigned to ALL pages as in any way it will be displayed only on profile and nowhere else.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
Hello I agree that the position of the JS Profile Completeness module only display on profile page, currently, but I plan to change the location of it to a Global Positions.
On my end all the modules that I set to a Global Positions required me to uncheck some of the pages from Module Assignment to prevent from showing on unwanted pages.
When clicking NONE then scrolling down you'll see JREVIEWS DIRECTORY MENU has pages checked.
This is Joomla! feature and module itself do not have influence on it.
Just try to uncheck it manually.
It this do not work - that means issue in Joomla! not module.
Alternatively you may try to use Advanced Module Manager (free extension to manage modules with many great features).
