problems updating "invalid license" and white page on admin page

ISSUE SUMMARY:
I just renewed my jomsocial license and wanted to update.
clicking the update button leads to message "This license is invalid. Please contact us for more information!"
Also when I click on the jomsocial admin page the only thing I get is a white page now.


STEPS TO REPLICATE:

Hi,

please download jomsocial package from jomsocial.com > my account
unzip that file, you can find jomsocial and ijoomla installer

try to re-install ijoomla installer from joomla extensions > manage > install

after that, try to upgrade your jomsocial using ijoomla installer by using license number.
if still cant, please install the jomsocial in conventional way from joomla extensions > manage > install, and select jomsocial installer from unzip downloaded file.

mhh I can't load it up again as the install by upload plugin is missing.
I know this has to do with joomla, but do you have an idea?

alle the plugins are still in the plugin folder on the webspace but I can't find them anymore on the plugin page.

Looks like it has been gone since the update to 3.6

Hi,

please check it. I did it for you.
here the steps:
1. recover the plugins from extensions > manage > discover
2. install new ijoomla installer
3. upgrade jomsocial to latest
