Hi,

please goto profile at frontend, customize my page, and have a look at that app/plugin setting. make sure the Amount not 0.
because I made test user, and there is no issue with My Friends app/plugin

please put that Feed URL value.
RSS feed can from any sites.

Hi,

that error message from joomla bug. jomsocial using joomla RSS feed reader.
you need to use elcomercio.feedsportal.com/rss/politica.xml

here the steps to fix that error:
1)
edit /plugins/community/myrssfeeds/myrssfeeds.php at line 59,
change the code from

if( empty( $url ) )
to
if( !empty( $url ) )

2)
after that, open that profile page, and customize my page. edit that RSS feed setting. change the URL with the XML
e.g: elcomercio.feedsportal.com/rss/politica.xml

3)
save it

4)
revert back the code to (at step 1)
if( empty( $url ) )
